Dr Simone Schuetz

Simone is a Registered Psychologist with more than 10 years of experience working therapeutically with a diverse range of adult clients.
Simone’s areas of interest include supporting clients struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues and recovery from trauma. She is interested in supporting clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and from the LGBTIQA+ community. Much of her training has focussed on trauma and trauma recovery.

Simone works with university students, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and clients in private practice.

With a compassionate, non-judgmental and gentle approach, Simone aims to create a safe space for clients to explore their experience, values and goals within a trusting therapeutic relationship in order to create meaningful change.

Simone’s approach is collaborative, client-centred and trauma-informed and she adjusts her approach based on each client’s individual needs. Simone has a special interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy.
